Hi Desi Queers!!! 🌈🌈 We’re so excited to share that our FIRST EVER event, “Kitty Party” will be on Saturday, August 1st, from 2:00–5:00 PM in Boston Common (near the flour bakery pop up) 🧺 Kitty parties have long been a beloved social tradition among women across South Asia - a space where people gather to eat, laugh, build community, and support one another. We’re putting our own queer spin on it 🕺🫖✨ Like kitty parties, this picnic will also be potluck style! Feel free to bring your favorite desi/desi inspired snacks or bevvies to share with the group. Please also bring a picnic blanket or something to sit on. We can’t wait to see you! As a reminder, this event is for people who are queer, South Asian, and allies with connections to the Desi diaspora. Non-QTPOC +1s are welcome 💖
